New Industrial Opportunities in Catalonia
The plans promoted by the Special Modernization Programs (PEM) to incorporate advanced technologies into defense open up new possibilities for Catalan companies with dual-use technological capabilities.
The agreement between Indra and Margon was formalized during the 4th Meeting of the National Defense Industry Ecosystem, held on May 11 in Barcelona, and represented a tangible step forward in the deployment of the Defense Modernization Plans (PEM). Thanks to alliances like this, the Indra Group aims to integrate high-value technological capabilities into large-scale industrial projects, reduce development times, and accelerate their operational application in key strategic areas for technological sovereignty.
